It’s been a while and time for an update! I’ve just received some pre-production components from UWIN Games and they look fantastic!

All the printed components are looking wonderful.
The idea of this sample was to check the quality of the materials, and not necessarily the final version (that’s what I’ve been working on while they’ve been making this first sample).
So the rules and cards still need a little update, which I’m very happy to say I’ve just received from my graphic designer Nathan, including French and German translations.
All of China is still in holiday mode because of Chinese New Year, but I’m hoping to start communicating with the factory again this week and make some amendments to my components.
Here are some lovely pictures!
The box cover with matte finish, UV glossy print on the logo, and embossed ‘Forage’ text:

My new bear!

See how it compares to the old bear, which I handmade as best I could:

The cards have a lovely linen finish on them.

The score sheet now includes a pencil 🙂

My bees look really good, the colours and shapes are fantastic, but the size is a little bit off… Back to the drawing board on that one!

Overall I’m really happy with the way they’re going though, and they’re so much more durable. You can pull and twist and drop them without any chance of them breaking.
The sun looks a little bit more like a fried egg than a sun 😆

A few more tweaks on that one too.
The wooden flowers weren’t completed before Chinese New Year, so I’m expecting those sometime in early March.
